Can I get a refund for my paid dues?

What Happens If My Travel Plans Change?

Updated over 4 months ago

We understand that plans can shift. Whether due to unexpected travel issues, family emergencies, or schedule conflicts, Reyoonite makes it easy to cancel your participation — with fair refund policies in place to protect both you and the rest of the group.

Dues Are 100% Refundable — Up to 4 Weeks Before the Reunion

If your plans change and you can no longer attend, your reunion dues are fully refundable as long as you cancel at least 4 weeks before the reunion start date.

Here’s how it works:

  • The amount you paid toward your reunion dues is 100% refundable

  • However, the Reyoonite platform fee is non-refundable

Example:
If your dues total $100, your full payment would be $104.50.

  • The $100 goes toward reunion expenses and is refundable

  • The $4.50 platform fee is not refundable

Why the 4-Week Deadline?

Around 4 weeks before the reunion, most vendor services (like catering, activities, and rentals) are confirmed and paid. At that point, your dues are part of the group budget, and refunding them could leave other participants covering the difference.

That’s why we only recommend issuing late refunds in true emergencies.

Inside 4 Weeks: Refunds Are Not Guaranteed

If you're less than 4 weeks out from the reunion date:

  • You may not be eligible for a refund, but we will work with your committee to try to work nothing out.

  • You should contact your committee directly to explain the situation

Keep in mind

Reyoonite is built for group coordination, so every change affects the whole. We’ve made the refund policy fair for everyone — giving you time to adjust plans while protecting the group budget as the event approaches.
