Event Status and How It Affects Dues
Draft Status
When events are first created, they’re in draft.
Committees can make changes freely and privately — members don’t see these events yet.
Adding, removing, or changing vendor services can change the per-person price at this stage.
Proposed Status
Once the committee is ready to share an event with members, they move it to proposed.
Members can now see the event and view estimated pricing
Members can opt in or out, except for mandatory events where their status is opted in automatically
The committee can still modify details and vendors and these changes are visible to members.
Vendor changes here can still affect per-person prices.
Confirmed Status
Once all vendor services are chosen and pricing is final, the committee moves the event to confirmed.
At this stage, the committee cannot modify the event.
The only thing that can change the per person price is whether members opt in or out of the event.
Note: All Activities on the itinerary have the status of Confirmed by default and don't need to be changed because there are no changes that can change the details or cost of Activities.
